Two new books by celebrity Chef Tatung Sarthou are in the works | Star chef Tatung Sarthou ushers in the holiday season with a bounty fit for all. The author-restauranteur is releasing two sequels to his best-selling cookbook, Simpol The Cookbook.

Simpol Kitchen Secrets, a guidebook on cooking skills and techniques, is the first in a back-to-back release. In this section, Chef Tatung explains in simple terms the fundamentals of the culinary arts. More than 100 recipes, more than 200 kitchen tips, and more than 600 color photos and artwork are featured in the book.

Bake Simpol, a collection of more than a hundred recipes for sweet and savory treats, comes in at number two on the list. Desserts like cheesecake bibingka and pichi-pichi with torched Queso de Bola topping by Chef Tatung are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth at any time of the day or night, no matter what the occasion.

By the end of November, Simpol Kitchen Secrets will be released. Baking Simpol will follow two weeks after this. Lazada, Shopee, Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, Amazon Singapore, and eBay will all sell the books in the United States and abroad.

Vertikal Books, a small press specializing in creative nonfiction and culinary content, will publish the two books.

Cooking and Baking Tips from Simpol’s Kitchen Chef Tatung’s next two books, Simpol, will be his fifth and sixth. It’s no secret that his previous work has been recognized by Paris’ prestigious World Gourmand Awards. At the Frankfurt Book Fair in October of last year, two of his best-selling books—Rice to the Occasion: Kanin to Kakanin and Simpol: The Cookbook—were on display as well.
