What do one wish for a restaurant? Good food, prompt service and a nice & clean environment, right? Well, these and a lot more can be found in Chef Aileen Anastacio’s Marmalade Kitchen.
Located at the Forum Bldg in BGC, Marmalade Kitchen is an airy, spacious restaurant that reflects Chef Aileen’s cheerful personality as well as her love for travelling. Chef Aileen used to operate Goodies n’ Sweets, a place known for its delicious desserts, until she closed it down some years back.
Marmalade Kitchen’s ambiance is relaxed and easy with comfortable chairs, textured tables, soft lights, whimsical bird cages and other fun decorative items. Serious it is not. The dishes she serves are well-loved classic and traditional comfort dishes – Royal Eggs Benedict, Roasted Pumpkin soup, Beef Stroganoff, Fish & Chips, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Seafood Black Ink pasta, among other things. And as she is a pastry chef, the desserts are the bestsellers (check out the Key Lime pie).
Marmalade Kitchen is at best, Chef Aileen’s culinary playground as it smoothly combines the dining area with a deli (selling fresh breads, pastry, pasta noodles, marmalades, wines and even home-related items like room sprays, etc.), gift shop (offers home related bottled scents, liquid soaps, colognes, etc) and a training room area (can fit 20 people max) perfect for intimate cooking and lifestyle classes.
Everyone is welcome to this kitchen where scrumptious eats, fun treats and culinary adventure is a daily offering.
