If you’re looking for a new chill out tambayan at the South of Metro, Siam Noodle House is your new go-to place to eat at. This restaurant takes us to a whole new level of authentic Thai dishes.

Believe me, I didn’t even think that the place is cozy at all from the outside, but as I enter, I was amazed of its spa like appearance. Situated across Starbucks Aguirre BF Paranaque, you’ll find this relaxing place that offers delicious dishes at affordable cost. Price of food ranges from Php75 to Php250. I find the place small, preferably good for 20 to 30 guests, but that’s how the owner really wants it to be – a place that brings people close together.

We were served drinks of our choice while waiting for the food to be served. Their lemon grass drink was so refreshing because of its herbal taste. The taste was not too strong, leaving your tongue craving for another sip. Serving time was reasonable. We didn’t wait too long. Their Calamares, Crispy Thai Spring Rolls with Chili Sauce and Glass Noodle Salad were good appetizers. Aside from Calamare being one of my favorites, the Squid Rings taste was very delightful. Unlike other restaurants that serve rubbery like Calamares, this one was crunchy and very tasty. The Glass Noodle Salad was sweet and yummy as well.

After the appetizers, here comes the dish. Thai food is about spicy food. What’s good about this restaurant is their flexibility to the customers’ needs. They’ll ask for your preference whether you want the dish served spicy or mildly spicy so you could enjoy it how you want it to be. I can see that they are concerned with the customers’ restaurant experience.
The Crispy Pork Noodle is perfect for those who crave for noodles with a crunchy surprise. This is actually my favorite! I was impressed with how the presentation of food came to be and most importantly, the taste. The Signature Beef has an amazing beef texture and softness, making you want to finish it all. They also offer Chicken Noodles. One commonality I found with their noodles is the taste of the soup and kind of noodles served – thick and flat. A bowl of noodles is good for 2-3 pax if you’re not much of an eater.

Good news to all seafood and curry lovers out there! Siam Noodle House also offers noodles that you’ve never tasted before, but wished you had.

We also tried rice meals. We had Spicy Beef Fried Rice matched with Chicken Wrapped in Pandan Leaves. The Spicy Beef Fried Rice tastes very flavorful as well. I can almost eat it without viand. They also offer Bagoong Rice for the Bagoong lovers.

Though they only have limited choices of desserts, we were able to savor it all. Banana Fritters were sweet enough to satisfy my palate. The Sticky Rice with Mango is perfect, as the sticky rice complements the taste of sweet mango. Their Tah Koh Pandan Pudding was surprisingly cute and flavorful. It’s like Maja Blanca and is best served cold. Everything seems yummy in this restaurant!

If you are looking for a unique food experience, I recommend you to try this out. Besides, summer is almost over. The cold rainy season will make you crave for something hot and delicious like that of Siam Noodle House.
