Spiced Tilapya with Mustard Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 4 pcs crushed garlic
- 8 pcs tilapia fillet
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Mix mustard, honey, turmeric, red pepper and garlic in a bowl. Rub the mixture evenly over each tilapia fillet. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Pre-heat pan and brush with a thin layer of olive oil. Cook tilapia for 10 minutes. Garnish and serve.
Tuna tacos with cabbage slaw
Ingredients:
- 2 cups very thinly fresh cabbage
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 4 teaspoons olive oil (divided)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large can tuna flakes in water
- 8 (6-inch) corn tortillas
In a large bowl, combine cabbage, tomatoes, and green onions. Add lemon juice, Add juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Toss well to mix. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan. Put tuna flakes and cook for 3 minutes then remove from the pan. Warm tortillas according to directions. Put the cabbage mixtures and tuna. Garnish and serve.
Thai-style roasted Bangus (Milk Fish)
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons fresh calamansi juice
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon ginger powder
- 6 pcs boneless bangus fillet
- 1 teaspoon chopped spring onions for garnishing
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preheat oven to 400° to 450°. In a bowl, mix calamansi juice, fish sauce, sesame oil, and ginger powder. Brush the mixture on each side of fish fillet. Brush the pan with thin olive oil. Arrange the fish on the pan. Roast for 5 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with spring onions before serving.
Fish Fillet with Chips crust
Ingredients:
- 6 pcs fillet, fish of choice (tuna, tilapia, dory)
- 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup mustard
- 1 medium sized egg, beaten
- 1 cup crushed chips crust of choice
- ½ tablespoon Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Mix mustard and mayonnaise. Sprinkle salt and pepper to fish fillet. Brush fillet with mustard and mayonnaise mixture. Drop fish in beaten egg, then, roll in crushed chip. Heat the pan and put olive oil. Cook the fish for 5 to 10 minutes.
