Food Finds Asia|Philippines Launches Subway Mart: First in SEA to Deliver Fresh Groceries At Home|With most Subway restaurants closed during the enhanced community quarantine, we have found new ways for our customers to continue to Live Fresh in the safety of their homes. Thus, Subway Mart was launched as a campaign to help Filipinos gain access to fresh ingredients during this difficult time.
Subway Mart includes a menu of Subway ingredients in bulk and sets itself as an avenue for guests to buy essentials like bread, meat, and vegetables without having to line up in crowded supermarkets. It is also our way to encourage Filipinos to choose healthier options as a part of their daily life.
Subway Mart is now available via takeout and delivery through our 3PD partners Foodpanda and GrabFood at operating restaurants in Metro Manila as well as in Boracay, until supplies last. With the Philippines being the pilot country, this new service is also expected to roll out in other Southeast Asian countries in the following months.
Subway Mart was made possible all thanks to our team in the Philippines, from Marketing to Operations, and of course the full support of the Franchise owners. We hope that while our stores remain closed or even after quarantine is lifted, Subway Mart will be a way for people to enjoy their own kind of Subway at home.
