PAL’s Newest Yummy Desserts are from Max’s Corner Bakery

Philippine Airlines has launched a new set of  yummy desserts courtesy of Max’s Corner Bakery.

Launched today, April 1st, the latest desserts aboard Philippine Airlines international flights from Manila are: Tiramisu, Crema de Fruta and Mango Cream Cheesecake. They are original recipes from Max’s Corner Bakery.

“We create our own recipes for all our desserts,” reveals Danny Pumarega, Max’s Corner Bakery COO.

“The premium ingredients are sourced locally from our quality-conscious suppliers,” added Pumarega.

Max’s Corner Bakery uses real cream cheese instead of custard for their Tiramisu and Mango Cream Cheese Cake.

Pumarega boasts, “All our desserts are freshly made everyday — never frozen.”

Ever since Pumarega came on board three years ago, Max’s Corner Bakery has embarked on a rapid expansion and innovation across its products and services. The company’s Ensaimadas, well-known for its classic flavor, has innovated on other flavors such as: Ube, Mongo, Yema and Choco. Last Christmas, it came out with Quezo de Bola and Chorizo flavors.

Max’s Corner Bakery also came out with Pinoy breads such as Spanish Roll, Pan de Macapuno and Pan de Quezo. In May, its famous Caramel Bars — which now has Mango — will soon launch a Langka variety this May. These new additions to its product line-up and the company’s continuous innovation have allowed the likes of Philippine Airlines to continue its almost twenty-year partnership with the firm.
