A drop of honey in each eye on a daily basis will not change eye color, nor will direct placement of herbal tincture do the trick. Opting for surgical measures will not be necessary, and believing that hypnosis will help – that is just insane. Thanks to recent scientific research, the dream of changing your eye color is within reach by introducing a few changes to your diet and here’s how:

Start with a cup of tea

If you are a tea-lover, then you probably know this already. UVA URSi is a soothing tea which relaxes your eyes, Chamomile on the other hand is an incredible tea which lowers down the concentration of stress hormones in your bloodstream. Setting aside the other several health benefits of drinking tea, it gives your eyes a brighter appearance and a warmer hue.

Go nuts

You would love to eat a lot of nuts because this is the primary source of nutrition. If you want to witness a gradual lightening of your eye color, Almonds have the lowest calorie content, but adding a variety of nuts will help enhance the process, except roasted ones which are deprived of nutrients due to high temperature exposure.

Delight in strong taste and smell

Constant usage of onions in your cooking has shown steady changes in eye color and in the skin as well. They are also vital in keeping the appetite in check and reducing chances of colorectal cancers. Apart from bringing gradual changes to your eye color, that rhizome called ginger is also known for its magical powers in reducing symptoms of asthma and preventing colon cancer.

Eat fish and meat

Include fish products in your diet regularly because it is rich of vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium and Phosphorus which are the prime vitamins and minerals that yield color changes in the eye. On the other hand, meat is also a powerhouse of essential minerals like zinc and magnesium which are also helpful in bringing about color changes in the iris.

Have some honey

The most effective way to utilize the eye color-changing capability of this sweet concoction is to take in an extra amount of organic honey in your diet. Topical application of honey will cause problems, but persistent consumption will result to a lighter shade of your natural color. Did we mention that olive oil contains fascinating components such as linoleic acid and oleic acid which renders a soft, beautiful hue to the color of your iris? Have some olive oil, too.

Don’t forget your greens

Let your eyes shine bright courtesy of the zeaxanthin and carotenoids lutein abundantly found in spinach. Bring back the youthfulness in your eyes when this alpha-lipoic enriched vegetable prevents stress and promotes healthy skin and hair. No wonder why Popeye loves to get a load of these.

After 60 days, you will be the judge to decide how your eye color has changed. These changes, however, are not drastically visible, but it is surreal to be able to naturally change your own eye color which lasts for days.
