The Food and Drinks Asia 2017 was successfully held from September 7-10 at the World Trade Center Manila.
This event, from the name itself, brings together specialty food, delicatessen, confectionery, beverages, beers, and wines and spirits for the public to discover. Many food entrepreneurs and companies showcased their products for both retail consumption and for franchising opportunities.
Presidents and executives of different food industries graced the opening ceremony of Food and Drinks Asia 2017. Present were Mr. Steven Cua, President of Phil. Amalgamated Supermarkets Association, Mr. Carlos Cabochan, President of Phil. Consumer Centric Traders Assn. Inc., Mr. Jesus Cham, President of Meat Importers & Traders Association, Inc., Mr. Ralph Lim Joseph, President of International Wines & Spirits Association, Inc., and Mr. Joseph Ross Jocson, President of Packaging Institute of the Philippines.
“We, as organizers, continue to assume this big responsibility for our exhibitors, for our country, and for this industry, to bring together every year new to the market products and cost-effective business solutions. Food and Drinks Asia 2017 also featured its newest incorporating shows. One of which is Natural Health and Organics Asia. This was considered to be the first international expo on natural health and organic food products, beverages, nutraceuticals, food supplements, and alternative health options. Coffee and Tea Asia, on the other hand, is an expo on coffee and tea products, materials, product innovations, and technology. These two shows surely gave the guests and entrepreneurs more choices on which products to patronize and eye on for their own business ventures.
