Dine Philippines Next Leg: Zamboanga City

After the kick off city of Davao, DINE Philippines’ next stop is Zamboanga City on July 31, 2014, at the Astoria Regency Convention Center. Industry experts shall share their insights on Filipino Competitiveness Amidst the ASEAN Integration. These include celebrity chef Bruce Lim and owner of Mise En Plus Foods, brand architect and strategist Amor Maclang of GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, digital marketer Homer Nievera of Negosentro.com and FoodFindsAsia.com; and food service operations veteran Danny Pumarega, COO of Max’s Corner Bakery.

In collaboration with the Zamboanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation and the Zamboanga State College of Marine Science and Technology, DINE Philippines will be able to reach more than 600 industry stakeholders, from food and hospitality business owners and executives to the academe. The Department of Tourism also supports DINE Philippines, and Asec. Art Boncato shall open the conference with a Keynote Address.

DINE Philippines is a restaurant management seminar series running since 2010, and is brought to key cities and provinces including Davao, General Santos, Cebu, Bacolod, Pampanga, etc. The conference series gathers some of the industry’s best restopreneurs and culinarians to inform, educate, and inspire its audience of the top trends and best practices in managing food businesses. It shall hold the conference in Zamboanga for the first time, but is expected to be an annual event catering to the growing number of patrons, and is envisioned to add value also as a job fair and industry exhibit in the future.
