DINE Philippines wants to recognize you for your innovation and game-changing food business.
You must be a restaurant within the CALABARZON Region(Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon), and operating at least for 1 month and not more than 1 year(from July 2014- June 1, 2015)
Offers a unique gastronomic experience for its customers or a new dining concept.
Has shown a significant success through a consistent following, or generated strong buzz in social media.

AN MERCADO-ALCANTARA President, San Pablo City Tourism Council
An Mercado-Alcantara is a writer, clay artisan, innkeeper, and foodie. Together with her husband, Boots Alcantara, they run a bed and breakfast called Casa San Pablo in San Pablo City, Laguna, where they run creativity workshops, as well as native cooking tous. “It is our mission to tell stories about our hometown- through our food, our crafts, our heritage,” An explains. Her native cooking tours highlight coconut and lake fish influences on their local cuisine. She is also a president of the San Pablo City’s Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Council.
MARCO LOBREGAT Business Development Strategist
Marco Lobregat is a Food and Tourism Advocate and a Business Development Strategist. He is a Senior Strategist at Geiser MAclang Communication, Inc. Some notable programs he drives include the Mahalin PAgkaing Atin local ood movement and the Spark Samar Campaign for Region 8. And He is the spirit behind Ministry of Mushrooms.
JOPET PEDROSO Premier Workshop Facilitator
Jopet Pedroso’s training roots started in F&B.
His career started in SHakey’s where he rose from staff to Supervisor to Trainer to Training Manager to Head for Corporate Engineering. He left the Restaurant Leadership Training Seminars for direct Selling companies.
In 2003, he came back to F&B Service Taining as a free-lance trainer. Some of his happy clients are Cibo Italian Café, Italianni’s and the whole Bistro Americano Group [TGIFriday’s, Outback, Fish & Co.]. The former Mandarin Oriental Manila, Pizza Hut Bistro, Shakey’s, Racks, Mamou Home Kitchen.
IGE RAMOS Award-winning Book Designer
Ige Ramos wears many hats: he is an award-winning book designer, food writer, and visual artist. He is also a fearless traveler and loves to cook for his partner. He is currently the edtor-in-chief of Rustan’s Supermarket Sansrival. Magalogue and for the past 10 years, he has been collecting recipes and documenting the culinary traditions of his beloved province, Cavite.
