DINE Philippines is an annual seminar series that gathers some of the industry’s best restopreneurs and culinarians to inform, educate, and inspire its audience of the top trends and best practices in managing food businesses.
This business seminar series is now on its fourth year and is brought to key cities around the country, and is now poised to have reached 8,000 trade professionals and the academe since its inception. This year alone, the learning session was brought to Davao, Zamboanga, South Cotabato and Cagayan De Oro thus far; and Pampanga shall host the next DINE Philippines on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Holy Angel University in Angeles City.
With the advocacy of enhance the level of our country’s tourism, hospitality and culinary industry; to transfer knowledge from industry experts to its stakeholders especially in key and developing cities in the country and to promote Filipino competitiveness in terms of operational standards and service delivery in light of globalization, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) given their its full support and endorsement in the seminar series.
For the Pampanga leg, participants will learn from Chef Peter Ayson, known for the Red Crab group, who will share best practices in catering, functions and banquet services. Chef Sau Del Rosario, with his vast international exposure, will teach the audience on how to inculcate health and wellness into a menu; as he did in his restaurant Le Bistro Vert. Vic Alcuaz, a veteran hotelier and human resources expert impart his knowledge, while Alvin Lim of Serye Filipino Café will promote entrepreneurship and business planning. Lastly, Adolfo Aran shall be talking about the latest trends in the foodservice industry.
