Filipinos are really fond of colorful festivities and celebrations. Growing up as a kid in provinces and barrios, we are eager for another joyous occasion that we get to share with our loved ones. The memories of fiestas are truly something delightful to look back to. Hence, fiestas became the heart and soul of the newly opened restaurant of celebrity chef couple Chef Rolando and Jackie Laudico – Chef Laudico’s Feast.
Chef Laudico’s Feast tells us an exciting tale of how people can experience the wonders of food in fiestas while inside the comforts of a mall. It is located at SM City Clark in Angeles, Pampanga. This newly addition to the chef’s various restos offers us not only over 100 dishes (which a person cannot taste all in one visit) but also food that is good for the health since they cook it using all natural flavoring. That is right! No artificials flavors are used achieving that lutong bahay taste we all crave for.
Since the restaurant is inspired by Filipino fiestas, the highlight will always be Filipino dishes. But they also offer other international dishes such as pastas and sushi. Even the interior design is made from materials usually used here in the Philippines such as Capiz-made chandeliers and walls decorated with weaved ratans. The walls are allocated for work of local artists in collaborations they plan on making. Chef Laudico’s Feast can house up to 200 people and has tables outside for people who wanted to smoke. The festive vibe would not be complete if it weren’t for the friendly smiles and warm welcome of the all-Kapampangan crew.
Being located in the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, it is not surprising that the food came out great. From main dishes to desserts, everything is well presented and excellently made. A true trait of the Laudico cooking. Everything is fresh and (true to their word) no preservatives added. Come on guys, it is true that with just one taste, you will know whether it has MSG or none at all.
The service is excellent, the food is superb, and you get to go to Clark and enjoy something sumptuous to eat! Truly, the promise of fulfilling our bellies and satisfying our craving hearts for something delicious has been pleased by Chef Laudico’s Feast.
