Foods, parties, reunions- Most people do gain extra fats after holiday season. After the celebration, you may feel heavy and bloated. If you are looking for ways to lose weight fast, here are some simple meal ideas for you:

Baked Cream Dory in Lemon and Tarragon

Ingredients

1 kilo cream dory fillet

1 tsp lemon juice ( or calamansi juice)

1 tsp olive oil

Dried or fresh tarragon leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

How to Prepare

Season cream dory fillet with salt and pepper. Add the lemon or calamansi juice. Marinate for 30 minutes. Grease the baking dish with olive oil. Layer the fish fillet; sprinkle tarragon leaves on top. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes.

Holiday Meal 2Fish and Tofu

Ingredients

½ kilo tilapia fillet, fried in corn oil

1 cup tofu cut into cubes, fried in corn oil

½ cup soy sauce

1 medium sized onions, minced

½ medium sized garlic, minced

1 tsp calamasi juice, fresh

Spring onions, chopped

Salt, pepper, sugar to taste

How to Prepare

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, onion, garlic, calamansi juice, salt, pepper, and sugar.  Taste the mixture according to your preference. Then, add the fish and tofu. Mix until the fish meat and tofu are well covered with soy sauce mixture. Sprinkle with spring onions.

Steamed Camote Tops with Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

1 bowl of fresh camote tops

2 medium sized tomato, chopped

½ teaspoon vinegar

½ medium sized cucumber, cubed

Salt, pepper, and sugar to taste

How to Prepare

Steam fresh camote tops for 5 minutes. Set aside. Mix the vinegar, sugar, pepper, and salt. In a plate, put the steamed camote; place cucumber and tomato on top. Pour the vinegar mixture.
