Tomato Soup

 Ingredients

1 tbsp oil

1 medium sized onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, chopped

1 celery stick, sliced

1 carrot, sliced

1  potato cubed

6 pcs medium sized tomatoes

600ml chicken or veg stock

1 tsp sugar

salt and pepper to taste

How to Cook

  1. Slice tomatoes into smaller. Put into a blender, add water and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Sautee onion, garlic, and celery in oil using medium heat. Stir until softened.
  3. Add carrots and potato, stir until softened.
  4. Add the blended fresh tomato, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add stock and sugar, cover and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally and add salt and pepper to taste.

Vegetable Soup

 Ingredients

½ cabbage chopped thinly

1 onions, chopped

1 clove garlic, chopped

1 piece celery

1 carrot, chopped

1  cup vegetable stock

1 tbsp oil

½ cup milk

How to Cook

  1. Sautee onion, garlic, and celery in oil using medium heat. Stir until softened.
  2. Add carrots and celery until softened.
  3. Put vegetable stock and cabbage, simmer for 2 minutes
  4. Add milk, and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Simple Onion Soup

 Ingredients

2 pieces large onions sliced thinly

1 ½  cups vegetables or chicken stocks

3 tbsp butter

Herbs of your choice

How to Cook

  1. Melt the butter in a pan, add onion. Stir frequently. Wait until onion becomes glassy.
  2. Add the stock and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add herbs and serve while hot.
